Persecution Invisible In Japan: No Check on Missionary ID?

I've checked a HP of Nippon Kaigi recently, the rightest wing cultic "civil group" which would never intend to register themselves as a religious authority. 

Nippon Kaigi claims that "we are corporative civil activist group which corporate with all kinds of religious groups, such as Jinja-Honcho(Shinto Central Government office), Soka-Gakkai, Science of Happiness and Christianity such as Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, which is the cult Christianity originated in South Korea.

Nippon Kaigi became so sensitive for it is accused as a "cult group" by so many writers since the spring 2016 in Japan.  

Nippon Kaigi has been working so hard over the internet. 

The provider I use for Japanese blog began to refuse the htlm code with my message "Mormons, Jehova's Witness, Unification Church(the Korean cult Church established by Moon Sunmyoen concerned as the sect Christianity in Japan) and the Shincheonji Church are not Christian Church" is automatically rejected since last month. 

Majority of Japanese common people are not familiar with religious activity in their day to day living. For most of Japanese, religious custom is the sub-title to have a dinner gathering with families and relatives. 

Although the ancestral worship is the major religion in Japan, there are very few family visit their family tomb on the seasons such as Obon(similar to halloween), and Higan(a week to visit family tomb on Spring & Autumn). 

I've heard that the housewife alone goes to the family tomb without her husband and their children. Young people are not interested in ancestral worship. Since Japanese Buddhism and Shintoism don't require any religious studies nor the entering ritual to join with belief, young people usually don't have any chance to know their "household traditional belief". 

So religion-less youngsters are good target for cultic religion. And the Japanese government and immigration office seems to intend "not to check the Missionary ID" strictly. 

I've heard that so many Catholic convents, monasteries had accepted a temporary stay without checking the Missionary ID, just because "no one really expect to be cheated by faked missionary in Japan". 

The permanent visa issue is so strict for most of Catholic convents and monasteries in Japan. So many document works and a Japanese guarantee is always required to extend visa even for a foreign priest who'd been decades without any trouble. 

Once there were "WANTED" poster in our parish for so called "bishop of Apostolic Catholic Church" a episcopal sect originated in Philippine. This bishop really visited our parish wearing a "bishop chasubles in the quiet residential street in a local town!

Please pray for those weak, handicapped, and missionaries from overseas.

Persecution Invisible In Japan: Japanoreligion As The Mixed "Best Of bits and bites"

The most miserable misunderstanding in Japanese people is "Japanoreligion is the most generous, the sincerest  and the most  kind-hearted in the world".

No. In fact, majority of Japanese people are so narrow minded, and eager to reject and condemnate the Christianity, Muslim and Jewish belief.

It started in the beginning of Tokugawa tyranny on about mid 17th century. To make Tokugawa Shogunate sustainable with limited trade with rest of the world without bothered by the diplomatic matter, Shogunate dynasty issued so many stories of "anti-Christian guidebook" called Haiya-sho.

It said that the Catholic priest is the evil magician who perform all kinds of magic to get a person alive and act like Ninja. The Ninja myth was enforced by Rev. Jihyoe Kintsuba, who once was trained as Ninja in his childhood became a Jesuit priest later on.

In mundane interpretation, "trinity" is understood as "three different things functions like a one body" in Japan.

The trinity concept has been so favorable in Japanese politics, hence those three part had never functioned as "one body".

During Tokugawa tyranny, three clans of Tokugawa had been the whirlpool of political strife for three centuries. Therefore the direct samurai, soldiers of Tokugawa and the suburb landlords and their vessels and their local samurais had been trying to find the negotiation point somewhere around.

Meiji government had brought in the Japanese interpreted trinity to the main teaching to "the official Imperial Shintoism".

According to the Meiji government, the Emperor of Japan is the head of family called "NIPPON" and their governors, nobles and bureaucrats beneath the Emperor, and all the common people beneath the rulers should sacrifice their life as the "babies(SEKISHI)" of the Emperor.

Meiji Imperialists thought this cultic theory will form the reformed Shintoism by teaching hence they thought the common people are all fool enough to be cheated.

Actually, their theory hadn't do anything good as the religious force, for the reformed Shintoism hadn't had any traditional base underneath.

Except few people in Osaka and Kyoto area, most of common people in Japan didn't know "what is the Emperor" or "where the Emperor appeared from".

There had been local polytheism religion which is the mixed shamanistic religion of Shinto and Buddhism goddesses. And there was no god called "Emperor" in local belief or mountain pilgrimage belief.

After Meiji government enforced Shrines, temples and other worship places to distinguish and divide Shinto goddesses and local Buddhas and arsats during Buddhism persecution. Many Buddhism statues were sold, broken and thrown away.

Even the famous five-stair pagoda in Kofukuji temple in Nara was once on auction sale in less than 8000 Euro in the modern monetary base.

For Japanoreligion leaders, the trinity is the most convenient distorted term to sum up the whole nation "in oneness".

They are so eager to hide the bits and bites Japanoreligous theory is lone "galapagos" theory which is mean, unkind and isolated.

Most of foreigners never mention on the "closed Japanese mind",hence Japanese people basically don't talk about their true feeling to others.

Many foreigners guess "maybe something traditional in the Japanoreligion which foreigners cannot understand". Just like non-Jewish cannot exactly understand the Jewish belief.

Actually, except fantastic cultic people, the majority of Japanese people don't know how to explain why their spirits are so empty after all.

I personally told to quite believing in Christianity until I really awake in my faith. People I've met said "there will be someone wise enough to teach you the right way". But, I've never ever met anyone who is clever and faithful enough to explain "what to believe in Japanoreligion?".

Their theories are mainly why non-Japanoreligion is bad and evil. And their explanatory goes into abstract fantastic words which is ten times fancier than the RPG game story.

Hence their theories are on the sand in the straw house, Christians have been their good target to persecute on for generations.

Persecution Invisible In Japan: Typical Japanophilosophical criticism toward Christianity

Japanology isn't easy "religion" to understand, since it doesn't have a religious roots based on the faithful activity. Japanological religion is based on blaming any "made up enemy" in the closed Japanese society.

I'd like to pick up an example from a blog and a counter blog content which both are concerned as "Christian blog" in Japan.

The person called "Shalom" introduced the common thought for Genesis22:1-19. The story on God asked Abraham to give his loveliest son, Issac to test Abraham's faith is enough to be a fundamental father in the early old testament.

Following is the basic content of the Shalom's concern.

Abraham must had deeply suffered when heavenly Father asked him to give his only son, Isaac, who was the gifted by three angels who visited his home. 

Abraham didn't discuss this matter with his wife, old Sarah. I(Shalom) concern that Abraham had felt guilty and regret that Abraham had already have a son with an Egyptian maiden Hagal. Abraham had really loved and cared Sarah as God cares Abraham.

Abraham was fully obedient to our Lord, even it was truly painful cross to him. 

Abraham had to sacrifice himself as our Christ sacrificed himself on the cross. The three days of crucified days to take his loveliest son, Isaac. 

When Abraham's heart was totally broken, the mercy and the grace of our Lord is shown. 

May peace of our Lord with us!

And the following content is the counter blog for "Shalom" on "Blog of Satoshi Toda, the land of lier and the religion".

He wrote a blog claims only the pain of Abraham, and praise his obedience toward the God's order, and concern "it's a faith". I really doubt on the characteristic of Mr. Shalom, for he never be suspicious on his faith without feeling any doubt.

…A person who can kill his son by God's order, will not hesitate to kill others by any kind of order. The type of belief as above seems do as the God's order, and that's the only way of salvation, then only psychopath are saved in the Christianity. 

For Mr. Shalom, God's order is absolute, and never claim and do as God's order, …for him, faith include to kill a man by God's order absolutely "YES".

Long time ago, a man who murdered the Jewish prime minister said "I killed him by God's order".
　
In our time, this type of "absolute faith" is concerned as "God's order" is going on a wild rampage. (The monotheisms) are not just similar, but substantially same, I think. Mr. Shalom is shouting on his blog based on maybe deeply involved with Biblical teaching, although the murder against the humanity and devoted obedience to the God!

Let's examine the ideology of Mr. Toda. He concerns "being obedient for our Lord" is misunderstood as "involving injustice or illegality" by his sense.

It means for Mr. Toda, all kind of monotheism "God" especially Christianity is basically injustice and something illegal although the constitution article 20th of Japan guarantee the religious freedom. 

We, Japanese Christians hear a similar tone opinion to Mr. Toda in elsewhere. Christians try to say about the love, mercy and forgiveness of God, but these "counter discriminators" would never hear our voice.

Christians are less than 1% of the entire Japanese population, and there are so many to blame Christians are "violent and maybe something so bad". 

Mr. Toda may had read the after story that our Lord grant Abraham to be a fundamental father in the Genesis. 

After Abraham took son Isaac to the Lord's Mountain, there was Lord's word, and blessed Abraham's faith for God's love, peace, mercy and grace as everybody knows. And told Abraham to be a fundamental father to be the prophet of God.

Maybe Mr. Toda hadn't understand a word of the conclusion. But this part of the Bible verse was convenient to criticize the Christianity.

As many Christian and Catholic bloggers, many are passionated in evangelisticall mission of the word of our Lord.

But, I don't think those who shows there intense hatred toward Christianity doing by their individual will.

This kind of "Christian hate blog" had increased since last year Abe cabinet had passed the new security laws which is clearly anti-constitutional.
